Mixing Love

In the little kitchen in the morning light
With flour on her hands, she makes little bites
Creating with love and full of zest
With a fire in her heart, she gives her best

Kneading dough and making bread
Her work will ensure that the family is fed
Her old apron's worn, but a watcher can see
In her creations at least her emotions run free

She rolls the dough with rolls and dips
Adds a pinch of magic seasons and flips
Her pastries rise with her hopes and desires
She's got a sparkle in her eyes, lan inner fire

In the oven's heat, her dreams take form
Each loaf and pastry feels so warm
In her kitchen's heart, she finds her way
Through baking's magic, to brighten the day

Aromas fill the air and she hums a song
Creates love and warmth, all day long
Her hands craft wonders, her heart's in flight
Each baked creation, a story in sight
